Neil Oughton

Managing Director

In a 35-year career, Neil has worked for some of the UK’s leading broadcasters and production companies, having started out as a newspaper journalist in Berkshire. He is a big-event producer, having covered nine Olympic Games, and nearly all the golf majors and tennis Grand Slams, as well as the spectacular 2006 Asian Games in Qatar.

In the 1980s, Neil worked as a sports reporter for Reuters in Fleet Street before moving into television with BBC News in 1991. He joined Sky Sports in 1994, and as Executive Producer of Golf oversaw Sky’s first two Ryder Cups at Oak Hill and Valderrama. He moved back to the BBC to join the management team that launched BBC Choice (now BBC3) in 1999, and went on to launch British Eurosport for the pan-European broadcaster the following year.

Neil joined Input Media in 2007 and was appointed MD in 2011. His tireless work to develop the business has led to long-term relationships with many of the leading international sports federations.
